On January 5, 2021, the museum event “Christmas Meetings” took place in the hall of sacred art of the Art Gallery of the Preserve. Its guests were Yevhen Dudarenko, the regent of the Church Choir of the Transfiguration Church of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine in Korsun-Shevchenkivskiy, a parishioner of the Transfiguration Church, poetess Antonina Zhyla. Yevhen Dudarenko, quoting the Gospel, told about the winter Christmas and New Year cycle of Ukrainian holidays. Antonina Zhyla acquainted the audience with her poetry on religious topics.
“Christmas meetings” is another step towards the popularization of the spiritual heritage of the Ukrainian people, which bring goodness, beauty, help a person to rise above everyday life, to think more deeply about the essence of human existence.
The organizer of the event is Halyna Davydenko, the head of the scientific and methodical department of the Preserve educational work.
