Lavender Amidst Art

On July 20, the “Poniatowski Palace” Museum hosted an ART event — a watercolor painting workshop.
Guests had a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of creativity by painting a delicate lavender bouquet in watercolor under the guidance of the experienced artist Vira Vlasenko.

During the workshop, participants not only created their own watercolor compositions but also mastered the basics of working with water and pigment. They learned several essential techniques — “wet-on-wet,” “dry-on-dry,” and “gradient wash” — which brought lightness and depth to their artworks.

The special atmosphere of the event was enhanced by the combination of participants’ live creations with the museum’s classical paintings, which inspired experimentation and the exploration of individual artistic styles.
