On November 12, the annual ecological action “Feed the birds” started in the Reserve. This action is held within the the ecological project “Let’s save the environment”. This year its first participants were pupils of the preschool “Zirochka” of Korsun-Shevchenkivska City Council. They visited the birds who live in the landscape park in Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi with feeders and various “delicacies”. At the beginning of the event, Kateryna Loenko, a junior researcher at the Department of Nature Protection, told the children about the wintering birds of the park, the peculiarities of autumn-winter feeding of birds and stressed the importance of such measures for the environment. Then the children diligently helped the adults to hang the feeders, filled them with food and promised to help the birds all the time.
\nThe environmental action will last until March 30.
\nThe organizer of the event is Kateryna Loenko, a junior researcher at the Nature Protection Department of the Reserve.
