Every year, on the eve of the International Day of Museums, Korsun artists are fascinated by the blooming lilac on the territory of the Reserve. On May 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., an open-air exhibition of artists with children took place.
\nThe plein air was attended by: member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Oleksandr Vorona, painter Valentin Granatyrko, teacher of fine arts at the Korsun-Shevchenkiv School of Arts named after K.G. Stetsenko Mykola Bryk, teacher of fine arts at the Korsun-Shevchenkiv Professional Pedagogical College named after T.G. Kateryna Palivoda Shevchenko, Vira Vlasenko, an art teacher at the children’s studio in Kyiv, as well as young artists – Olya Mykolenko, Anastasia Ruzhitska, Eva Newar, Sofia Tunik, Nataliya Tereshchenko.
\nLilac plein air in Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi, as a development of the plein air tradition, always takes place in several stages:
\nThe first stage – the artists come with their students, choose a place, fix the easels, select a palette of colors and diligently and purposefully transfer the freshly blooming lilac to the canvas.
\nStage II – artists and their students come again and try to capture the “tired”, heavy bunches of these fragrant flowers before they bloom.
\nIII stage \u2013 after finalizing their works in the workshops, the artists submit them to art exhibitions.
\nAnd this is an extraordinary holiday, where you can see newly born works of art.
\nThe war will end with Victory for Ukraine, and we will definitely create a permanent exhibition of blooming lilacs on canvases in the Nature Reserve.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
