This annual event is part of the educational project <em data-start=\"349\" data-end=\"383\">\u201cOutstanding Figures of Ukraine\u201d<\/em> and is conducted jointly with scholars from the Literary-Memorial Museum of I.S. Nechui-Levytskyi.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"484\" data-end=\"853\">Andriy Khavrus, head of the writer\u2019s museum, gave a presentation to eleventh-grade students about Nechui\u2019s life and teaching activities, as well as his significant contributions to Ukrainian literature and the development of the Ukrainian literary language. The students recited excerpts from memoirs by Mariia Hrinchenko, describing the writer\u2019s difficult final years.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"855\" data-end=\"1374\">At the conclusion of the event, Andriy Khavrus presented rare photographs from Nechui-Levytskyi\u2019s funeral, recently discovered in the archives of the Ukrainian Museum and Library in Stamford, USA. These photos were found and digitized by the prominent researcher Vasyl Lopukh and published for the first time. They were taken by an unknown photographer who served in the Sich Riflemen Battalion of the Ukrainian National Republic Army.
