On display were sabers, shashkas, swords, dirks, and daggers from various eras and countries. Among the highlights were an 18th-century Persian shamshir, a 19th-century Turkish yataghan, a Cossack dagger dated 1861, as well as sabers and shashkas from the World War II period.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"454\" data-end=\"712\">The exhibition was organized by <strong data-start=\"486\" data-end=\"507\">Tetiana Poliakova<\/strong>, head of the Military Museum, who shared insights into the origin, structural features, and methods of use of the bladed weapons on display.
