All-Ukrainian race “I respect the soldiers, I run for the Heroes of Ukraine” in Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi
On August 31, the All-Ukrainian race “I honor the soldiers, I run for the Heroes of Ukraine” took place. The event is timed to the Day of Remembrance of defenders of Ukraine who died in the struggle for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. It is celebrated on August 29 in order to preserve the memory of every Hero who died for Ukraine.
Organizers of the race are Korsun-Shevchenkivkyi City Council, Korsun-Shevchenkiv State Historical and Cultural Reserve.
The event began with commemoration of all Heroes who gave their lives for Ukraine in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
Runners who registered on the platform of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, as well as relatives, combat comrades, friends of the fallen Heroes, young athletes and their coaches, students of the city’s educational institutions, volunteers, employees of the Reserve took part in the race.
Heroes don’t die!
