In the book, for the first time in Ukrainian historiography, the roads of Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko in the Korsun region in 1827–1829, 1845 and 1859 are studied. Brief historical references to the settlements through which Shevchenko’s roads ran were given. The names of relatives, friends, and acquaintances of Taras Shevchenko, who were united by the Korsun land, have been named.

The book includes letters from T.G. Shevchenko to V. G. Shevchenko and letters from V. G. Shevchenko and F. G. Lebedyntsev to T. G. Shevchenko.

The book is intended for a wide range of readers.
