On the Independence Day of Ukraine, the annual asphalt drawing competition “I Love Ukraine!” was held on the territory of the Reserve in the city of Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi. Despite the low air temperature and rain for August, 7 children aged 4 to 9 from Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Kirovohrad and Cherkasy regions, who visited the Reserve with their parents, took part in the competition. The young artists drew 6 drawings.
According to the terms of the competition, the winner was determined by online voting on the Reserve’s Facebook page. The most liked drawing was No. 1, created by Anastasia Gapon and Daryna Neradko from Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi.
On September 9, the Poniatovsky Palace Museum hosted an awards ceremony for Anastasia Gapon, a first-grade student at Korsun-Shevchenko Gymnasium No. 1, who visited the Reserve with her mother and father. Unfortunately, Daryna Neradko, a second-grade student at Korsun-Shevchenko Gymnasium No. 2, was unable to come to receive the award. Sweet prizes and certificates for both winners were presented to Anastasia.
The certificates entitle the girls to a one-time free visit to the museums of the Reserve with her parents or other family members. We are waiting for the girls with their families in our museums.
