Day of Dignity and Freedom in the Reserve
On 21 November, on the Day of Dignity and Freedom, students of the 8th and 9th grades of the Korsun-Shevchenko Lyceum visited the exhibition ‘Ukraine – Above All!’, which is on display in the military museum of the Reserve. Stanislav Stepenkin, PhD in History, Head of the Historical Museum, eyewitness of the revolutionary events on Independence Square in Kyiv and participant of the protests in Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi, met with the children in the hall dedicated to the participants of the Revolution of Dignity. He told the audience about some of the episodes that took place in the capital and in the Korsun region in those days, about the volunteers who went to the East from Maidan to defend Ukraine, about the victories of Ukrainian soldiers who are now fighting for victory in a bloody war.
The struggle that began on Independence Square continues today at the frontline. We remember everyone who gave their lives for our dignity and freedom. We bow to all those who are currently defending Ukraine.
Glory to Ukraine!
