Every mushroom is picked up, but not every one is put in the basket

September 27 on the eve of the European Mushroom Day in the Reserve the traveling exhibition “Mushrooms of the Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi Park” was shown, at which there was more than 20 types of mushrooms growing on the territory of the ancient park are presented.

Students of the 6th grade of the Korsun-Shevchenkovska gymnasium came to see the exhibition. They listened with interest to the story of Kateryna Loyenko, a junior researcher, about the mycological diversity of the park and the importance of mushrooms in nature and human life. Children shared their knowledge about the mushrooms of our region, and also talked about family trips for “quiet hunting”. The participants of the event learned a lot of interesting things about the mushroom world that surrounds us.

The uniqueness and diversity of mushrooms reminded me again that the amazing is nearby, you just have to want to see it.
