This event is of vital importance for the Reserve. We received a generator from the NGO “Center for Assistance to the Arts of Ukraine – Kyiv”, which was purchased specifically for our Reserve by German partners. In January 2025, without a generator of appropriate capacity, we were forced to stop the operation of the boiler room, which led to a number of problems. In the upcoming heating season, the generator will ensure stable operation of the Reserve’s boiler room during power outages, which will contribute to the creation of an appropriate microclimate for the preservation of museum objects, high-quality service to visitors to our museums, and effective work of the team.

Along with the generator, the Reserve received power banks, storage devices, surge protectors, tools, packaging materials, and boxes for museum items. They are essential in our daily work to preserve museum treasures and architectural monuments that are part of the Reserve.

The reserve has received equipment, tools, materials, etc. in previous years, but this year’s assistance is special.

We express our sincere gratitude to the Ukraine Art Aid Center and the head of the NGO “Ukraine Art Aid Center – Kyiv” Iryna Nikiforova for the generator (not cheap), as well as for everything we received.
