MASTER CLASS IN NECHUYA VILLAGE
editOn February 25, an art event was held at the I.S. Nechuya-Levytsky Literary and Memorial Museum, to which the craftswoman Kolomiyets Tatyana Anatoliivna was invited. She lived in Kyiv, and later settled in Steblev. Ms. Tatyana took up a brush at the age of 50. She works in the style of Ukrainian decorative and ornamental folk painting – Petrykivka painting.
The initiator of the master class was the director of the Steblivka preschool institution “Rosinka” Savchenko Inna Mykolaivna, and the I.S. Nechuya-Levytsky literary and Memorial Museum kindly received the guests. At the beginning of the event, the attendees viewed an exhibition of the craftswoman’s creative works (paintings, bottles, spatulas, Easter eggs, kitchen boards) and unique books related to “petrykivka”.
Tatyana Anatoliivna held a master class on creating Petrykivka painting for the guests of the Nechueva Osela. The participants of the event tried themselves in painting various objects using this technique. The time of communication flew by unnoticed. Those present expressed sincere gratitude to the craftswoman for the practical painting skills they received and positive emotions.
