On May 13, the event “European countries” was held on the territory of the Reserve, timed to the Day of Europe. Young skaters and children temporarily living in our city took part in it. Together with scientists Larisa Grebenichenko and Kateryna Loyenko, they made flags of European countries and created the flag of the European Union. During the event, the children made almost 50 flags, including those of Great Britain, Poland, France, Latvia, Germany, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, and Ukraine.
They loved taking photos with the flags they had made with their own hands and were happy to take them with them.
The participants of the event received not only a charge of positive emotions, but also new knowledge about European countries, about their help to Ukraine in the fight against the Russian Federation.
