Exhibition “Women’s Fates Scorched by War”
The Museum of the History of the Battle of Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi has created an exhibition “Women’s Fates Scorched by War”, timed to the 77th anniversary of the Korsun-Shevchenko offensive.
The exhibition presents 30 exhibits from the stock collection of the Reserve, which tells about the participants of the Second World War, in particular, about a native of the village New Buda Evdokia Kharchenko, a native of the village. And about Kvitky resident – Yevdokiya Datsko, about Natalia Babiak and Lyubov Vozna, a resident of Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi. The exhibition presents materials about women who took part in the Korsun-Shevchenkivska offensive: Kateryna Kuba, Kateryna Bobrovytska, Lyubov Belova. During the preparation of the exhibition, materials from the book “The Fading Feat of Korsun Women” by Lyudmila Mezentseva, a veteran of pedagogical work, a resident of Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi, were used. Lyudmila Mikhailovna’s book is also on display at the exhibition.
The organizer of the exhibition is Larysa Grebenichenko, a junior researcher.
