“Explorers of the Park Flora”

On the eve of important ecological dates – the International Day of Biological Diversity (May 22) and the European Day of Parks (May 24) – within the framework of the environmental project “Plant World of the Park” on the territory of the Reserve, an educational ecological game “Explorers of the Park Flora” was held. Its participants were students of the 2nd grade of the Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi gymnasium (class teacher – Yuliya Ladnova) and students of the 1st grade of the Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi comprehensive school No. 1 (class teacher – Taya Chernenko).

The children conducted experiments with plant seeds with interest, built biocenoses, recognized the types of flora of the Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi Park by leaves, etc. The schoolchildren showed a high level of knowledge of the nature of their native land and discovered a lot of new things about the flora of the park.

Educational games are a great way to study and explore the world around us, to understand our importance in maintaining ecological balance and to immerse ourselves in the wisdom of nature.
