To mark the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence, a master class “Kalinova Ukraine” was held on the territory of the Reserve in the city of Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi, which anyone could join. The master class aroused great interest among children. Together with our scientists, they skillfully worked with colored paper, creating applications depicting viburnum clusters – one of the ancient folk symbols and amulets of Ukraine, which personifies beauty, life, invincibility, and the continuity of generations. Little Ukrainians put all their love for their homeland, respect and gratitude to Ukrainian soldiers for their protection, for peaceful dawns, and for the opportunity to dream and have fun during summer vacations into their crafts.

The master class was accompanied by a discussion about the centuries-old struggle of the Ukrainian people for Independence.
