On September 7, the Reserve hosted a workshop on the making of motanka dolls – charms for Ukrainian soldiers, which was attended by children from families temporarily living in the city of Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi, as well as  Korsun residents. Not only girls, but also boys – our future protectors – expressed a desire to make charms. The gentle rays of the sun on this autumn day prompted the children to make most of dolls from bright yellow threads, weaving in blue – the color of the peaceful sky.
The participants of the event worked on the motanka dolls with the sincere belief that they would protect Ukrainian soldiers. Some of the children took amulets with them to give to their relatives at the front, others we will give to volunteers, and they will take them to our brave defenders.
May God and amulets made by children’s hands protect our soldiers from enemy bullets.
The master class was conducted by Larisa Grebenichenko and Kateryna Loyenko, scientific workers of the preserve .
