On December 12, the Historical Museum of the Reserve hosted a roundtable discussion titled “Immovable Monuments and Cultural Heritage Sites in the Territory of the Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi City Council.” This working meeting brought together representatives of the Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi City Council: Liudmyla Simshah, Deputy Mayor; Olha Tyshchenko, Head of the Department of Architecture, Urban Planning and Construction; Vita Hryb, Head of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection; Viktoriia Tsyhanenko, Chief Specialist of the Department of Housing and Communal Services, Infrastructure, Transport, Communications, Economic Development, and Investment; Oleksandr Kukla, Chief Specialist of the Department of Land Relations; Oleksandr Sobkovych, Head of the Cultural Heritage Protection Sector of the Department of Culture and Tourism; as well as researchers of the Reserve.
Dr. Paraskoviia Stepenkina, Director of the Reserve and PhD in History, gave an overview of historical, architectural, urban planning, monumental art, and natural landmarks located within the Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi City Community. Lidiia Ovsiienko, Deputy Director for Research at the Reserve, presented information on archaeological monuments. The participants discussed a number of key issues.
