“SPRING. THE THIRST FOR LIFE”

On March 4, the “Poniatowski Palace” Museum hosted the opening of the exhibition “Spring. The Thirst for Life”, featuring paintings, graphic works, and decorative and applied art pieces by members of the artistic association “Korsunsky Uzviz”, as part of the art project “The Art of Loving One’s Homeland.”

The exhibition showcases works by 13 painters and 14 masters of decorative and applied arts.

The vernissage was well attended by locals and guests of Korsun. Welcoming speeches were delivered by: Deputy Mayor Liudmyla Simshag, Head of the Culture and Tourism Department of the Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi City Council Iryna Truntseva, Head of the Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi Literary and Artistic Association “Yantalka” Oksana Sherengova, Head of the “Korsunsky Uzviz” artists’ association Liudmyla Kulko, decorative painting master Liubov Karakai, and Head of the handicraft club “Makosha” Tetiana Onopriienko.

Poetess Yaryna Yar read her poems written for the fifth anniversary of the founding of “Korsunsky Uzviz.”
