“Spring Troubles of Birds”

On April 6, within the framework of the “Save the Environment” environmental project, the “Spring Troubles of Birds” event took place.

Kateryna Loyenko, a junior researcher at the nature conservation department of the Reserve, visited the “Sonechko” preschool of the Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi City Council and told children about the springtime birds found in the Park of the Reserve in Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi, how their nesting and preparation for hatching chicks, how to behave during walks in nature so as not to disturb birds. The story was illustrated with pictures of birds and a collection of nests. During the meeting, preschoolers carefully looked at bird’s nests and listened with interest about the features of their creation from various natural materials. Young researchers of the nature of their native land shared their knowledge about the birds they met at home, in the yard of the kindergarten, on walks.

We are sincerely glad that the children show love and care for the nature of their native land. A generation of Ukrainians is growing up, who in the future will build our state on the basis of harmony with nature.
