We invite you to take an exciting journey through Korsun Park – one of the most amazing ancient landscape parks of Ukraine. It is a monument of garden and park art of the last quarter of the 18th – 19th centuries. Spread over the granite islands of the Ros River and the mainland. Its area is more than 100 hectares.
During the trip, you will learn about the history of the creation of the park, listen to interesting legends and tales, admire granite rocks, natural waterfalls and age-old plantations. Thus, from the second bridge, thrown over the river, a wonderful view of Yantalka Mountain, which is the decoration of Deni Island, opens up. Near the sculptural composition “Yan and Natalka”, the tour guide will tell you the legend about the undying love of the Ukrainian girl Natalka and the Polish nobleman Yan. Nearby is an old chestnut tree, under which, according to legend, Taras Shevchenko liked to rest and paint during his last trip to Ukraine in 1859. The ancient nature of the park is emphasized by Prince’s Alley, which is located on the mainland. Giant fir trees with cone-shaped thick crowns create a unique picture.
Іn the park, you can quench your thirst by drinking crystal clear water from the Mermaid’s Spring or Prince’s Well. There are places for recreation on its territory: open gazebos, benches, etc.
A trip through the park will give you a special feeling of unity with nature at any time of the year. It will be interesting and educational for both adults and children.
