On 9 – 10 of November in the Reserve the online conference “Chronicle of history of Ukraine: news of the day” was held. It was tenth, scientific and practical conference held by the Reserve.
Applications for participation in the conference were sent by 58 persons from 12 regions of Ukraine: Vinnytsia, Volinskyi, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy. Among the participants in the conference were from national and state universities, victorious colleges, workers of central state archives, scientists of national and state reserves, regional and local museums, representatives of historical partnerships and community organizations.
Conference was planned to be held in the walls of the Reserve, however, through quarantine, it was announced that the conference was held in an online format. Technical support by anti-crisis grant from the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation gave us the opportunity to make this happen.
33 scientists took part in the online conference. A wide range of topics from the history of Ukraine was discussed; the results of new reports from culture, ethnography, art, literary knowledge and music knowledge, as well as presentations from the history of the archives, from the archives. All scientific reports and additional information about the participants of the online conference will be published in the book of materials of the scientific practical conference “Chronicle of the history of Ukraine: new visions of the 20th century”,
The organization of the broadcast of the online conference was organized by Iryna Kovalenko.
