Willow Sunday is celebrated a week before Easter. A master class was timed to this holiday, which was conducted by Larysa Grebenichenko, a junior researcher of the Reserve, for students of the 3rd grade of the Korsun-Shevchenkovskyi secondary school No. 1 on April 6.

The master class was preceded by an informative talk about Willow Sunday and its plant symbol, during which students learned about the varieties of willow and the healing properties of this plant, about the tradition of consecrating willow branches.

During the master class the children each created two appliqué drawings with a willow tree. They will decorate their homes with their own handmade products.
