WREATH FOR KUPALA NIGHT
editWREATH FOR KUPALA NIGHT
On June 23, on the eve of the Ivana Kupala holiday celebrated during the night of June 24, an ethnographic workshop titled “The Magic of the Holiday” was held at the Reserve.
Ivana Kupala is one of the most vivid and mystical ancient holidays preserved in Ukrainian culture.
Participants of the ethno-workshop created traditional wreaths from herbs and flowers gathered in the Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi Park and its surroundings.
Everyone who took part in the event crafted a Kupala wreath according to their own preferences. At the same time, the group discussed the importance of preserving national traditions and rituals, explored the park’s plant life, and enjoyed the unique aromas of fragrant herbs.
